Green is the new White
I know it sounds a little corny, but conservation is critical. Its not just an environmental issue, its a smile issue too. cosmetic dentistry allows for dentists to conserve as much of the tooth as possible, whether we are fixing broken teeth, filling cavities or improving smiles. The days of teeth needing “crowns” are dwindling down as this age old treatment is getting replaced by porcelain inlays, onlays and veneers. These more conservative treatments are just as strong and require less removal of healthy tooth to fix problems and consequently have the ability to look and feel natural with less chance of post operative sensitivity and root canals. It also just so happens that the more cosmetic option, in most cases, is also the healthiest option for the tooth.
